High School Graduate

Hi there!  Today, we are posting a picture of our high school graduate.  We started this blog 18 years ago to share moments from our lives with family that was far away.

There was quite a journey to this picture.

We are incredibly grateful for our family and friends.  We are incredibly grateful for our daughter.  She makes us proud every day but especially so on graduation day.

It's really hard to imagine our little girl is a high school graduate - a smart, funny, talented young lady ready to take on the next set of challenges the world has to offer.  But it's true.

This Fall, Macy starts a new chapter at the University of Virginia.  We love her and are looking forward to cheering her on in her new adventures!

Harry Potter and Hashtag the Panda

Hi there everybody!  We watched the Crimes of Grindelwald, a movie about the story of Harry Potter.  It reminded me of our visit to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

It was a lot of fun.  It felt like we were in the Harry Potter stories!

We even road the Hogwarts Express!

Later on during the week Mom met Hashtag the Panda from the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Everyone is doing well.  The trees are blooming and Spring is finally here!

Is it Spring Yet?

Hi there.  Hope everyone is recovering from the polar vortex.  We are all doing well and looking forward to Spring.  I am ice skating with Mom while Dad works on a research paper.

This is a picture from a few months ago.  It is right across the street from Dad's office.

Geocaching

Hi everybody!  The weather was so nice yesterday that Mom, Dad, Elizabeth and I decided to go for a hike.  To be more specific we decided to go on sort of a treasure hunt.  We recently learned about geocaching.

Geocaching is where people hide a small container with a log for people to write their names in when they find it.  Each geocache also contains a small bag of trinkets.  When you find a geocache you can take a trinket and leave one of your own behind for the next person.

You use a mobile phone to navigate between geocaches.  We had a lot of fun.  Elizabeth especially enjoyed being out in the woods.

In other news, I performed a violin duet for middle school orchestra.  Mom and Dad were super proud of me.  Hope everyone is doing well.  Have a great week.

Thanksgiving will soon be here!

Hi there!  Well it's almost Thanksgiving.  The school year has been flying by.  I thought I would share a picture of the awesome Halloween costume that Mom made for me.  It started out as a foldable laundry hamper if you can believe that!

This is a picture of me at an indoor rock climbing facility near our house.

These are some pictures from our family vacation.  It is getting cold outside so Dad thought it might be nice to remember the warm weather at the beach.

Every year we eat dinner on the beach at least one night.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
