Flashback Weekend

Yaaaaaaahhhhh!

What time is it?

Oh it's time to blog again.

We shared some quality time on the deck this beautiful morning.

Me and my BFF.

School is going great.  I like my teacher and have lots of friends in my class.

To start out the week with a smile check out this little munchkin.  Dad was working on some video editing software when he found this clip from about four or five years ago.

I've always really enjoyed collecting rocks.  Even when I was a lot smaller they were some of my most prized possessions.  My rock Cinder was no exception.  In fact, I still have Cinder...he made the move with us all the way from Indiana.

Finally, a little music to send you off!

Have a great week!

Dogs and Cake (two of my favorite things!)

Hey there!  Hope everybody is doing well.  I miss summer but I really like my teacher and am glad to be learning new things in 2nd Grade!

Have I mentioned before that I really love dogs?  Well, I DO!!!  So last week we went to the Puppy Plunge!  At the end of the year, the community pool lets dog owners bring their pets for a swim.  I met lots of different kinds of dogs - Golden Retrievers, Labradors, Jack Russells, Westies, Chinese Crested Terriers, and even a Basset Hound named Duke.  But of course, my favorite was the dachshund.

I had a great time!

In other news, Mom and Dad celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary this week.  We had a nice dinner together and a big slice of cake.

Here are some pictures I took.  Dad thinks this one is funny.

This one is better.

Hope you had a good week.  See you next week!

First Day of School and Slushies

Hi there!  Here I am on my first day of 2nd Grade!  I even picked out the outfit that I am wearing.

I was sad that the summer was over because I had so much fun.  But, I was excited to be heading back to school with all of my friends.  Here I am at the bus stop.

Before school started, the "M" Club had a sleepover a couple of weeks ago!  Here are Maezhen, Megan, and me with our special dolls.  Don't they look just like each of us!

It was really hot out this weekend.  So I invited my friends from the neighborhood to have a slushy stand at my house!  We sold slushies for $.50 in a variety of flavors.  Almost every kid in the neighborhood was there.  It was a real hit!

I hope you had a great weekend!
