Christmas Party

Hey there everybody!  It is almost Christmas.  To celebrate, we put on a Christmas show at school.  I was a tree.

Mom and Dad were really proud of me.  It was fun to be a Christmas tree!

After the show, we all had cookies and punch.

Later in the week, we went to Ohio to visit Mom's side of the family.  Great Aunt Melinda and Carl hosted a Christmas party!

Almost our entire family made it to celebrate the holidays together.  It was really nice.

I have been trying really hard to stay on Santa's "nice" list.  Christmas is almost here and I can't wait.  See you guys next week!

More pictures to come.

Halloween in December?

Hey there!  Here comes the snow!

Not much happening this week except for snowy weather.  It was really cold and icy here.  I've been listening to Christmas music and taking all the ornaments off of the Christmas tree.  Hope you're having as much fun as I am.  See you next week.

Thanksgiving

Hi there everybody!  I hope you had a great Thanksgiving.  Here's what I've been up to lately.  I painted a heart for Mom while she was out having dinner with some other neighborhood moms.  Dad took me to Michaels and let me pick out what craft I wanted to do.

So, I chose painting a heart pink and red for Mom.  It was lots of fun.  Dad was worried that I would end up with paint everywhere.  We compromised on putting it on the wooden heart and only the places Mom wouldn't find until Dad went to work.

After that, we went home to Ohio for Thanksgiving.  Here I am at Grandma and Grandpa's house (Mom's parents) getting ready to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner.

This year I ate noodles and turkey!

Later on that weekend, I went to the Nutcracker ballet wtih my cousin Megan.

I wore my ballerina outfit and brought Olivia.  The whole family had a fantastic time watching the ballet.

Next stop, Dad's side of the family.  Here are Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Casey,
Aunt Maresa, my cousin Liam and I getting ready to enjoy dinner.

My other cousin Grayson was taking a snooze on the couch.  Uncle Mike couldn't make it but I said hello when I visited with him the day before.

When Thanksgiving was over we headed home.  Here I am using one of the "Big Love" spoons Great Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Gene gave me. I especially enjoy using my special spoons at breakfast; the best way to start the day is with a spoon full of love!

I really like vanilla ice cream, too.

I think I get that from both my Grandpa's.  Rumor has it, they like ice cream too!

This weekend, I helped decorate the Christmas tree.

Dad hauled it up from the basement, and Mommy and I arranged the oranaments. Then Mommy re-arranged just a couple of mine, as I favored some spots on the tree a little much.

While we were decorating, everyone put on reindeer antlers.

I wished I would have taken a picture of Mom and Dad wearing them.

I did manage to take Daisy's picture though.

Sorry buddy.  It is hard being a dog in our family sometimes.  Hotdog costume for Halloween.  Reindeer antlers for Christmas.  Ho.  Ho.  Ho.

See you guys next week!
