Hi there everybody! Here's a question for you. What has ears but cannot hear?

A corn field!

Haaarrrrrdy, harrrrrrr, harrrrr. Man was that funny!
Anyway, I had a lot of fun this week. I went to the park and played with Taylor, Tyson, Avery, Addison, and Xander. We swung on all of the swings and slid down all of the slides. My favorite was the tire swing.
Dad came home from Savannah. He had lots of stories to share about the big container ships sailing into port and all of the pretty houses there. I rode my tricycle around the neighborhood and picked up rocks, dandelions, and other treasurers. Dad helped keep me from picking up the stuff I wasn't supposed to like our neighbors landscaping. I rubbed a dandelion on Dad's hand and it turned yellow. Weeds are so cool.
The highlight of the week was baking my strawberry cookie sandwiches with Mom. First we baked the cookies. Mom took care of that since I'm not allowed to use the stove yet. I picked out the strawberries and Mom cut them into slices.

Then, I spread frosting on one cookies, stacked a couple of strawberry slices and put another cookie on top.

There were delicious! Mom and Dad both said so. I forgot and left these three on my little table. The next morning Daisy said the cookies were pretty good too.
Here I am with my Cabbage Patch doll, Tanya Dandelion. She is my friend and pretty much the only reason Mom was able to coax me into a dress for church this morning--Mom said I could take her with me.

This morning at church I saw some other kids make their First Communion. It was pretty neat to watch. I especially liked the princess crowns the girls wore. Mommy said I will have a First Communion someday. She is a little less optimistic about getting me to wear a First Communion veil for more than 30 seconds. Maybe I'll give her a break that morning.
Dad said he had Swedish meatballs for lunch after his First Communion. I've seen pictures of Dad that special day, but it doesn't look like he's at Ikea in any of them. I guess I'll have to keep looking.
See you next week!
