Anybody See a Lost Dinosaur?

Hi there!  I am looking for my lost dinosaur.  Have you seen him?

Oh, there he is.  His name is Diplodocus carnegii.  He is an herbivore.  I met him when I went to work with Dad.

Dad and I had lunch together, rode a carousel, and best of all, he took me to see his office.  Dad had hung up several of the my pictures.  He even had some of my special crafts and art projects on his desk.

Later in the week, Dad went to Washington, D.C  I was glad that he came back the very next day.

Mom and I practiced writing words that begin with the letter "E".  I wrote 84 words that start with "E"

I am getting ready to have a lot of fun at the Pumpkin Show.  Hope to see you there!

Enjoying What Fall Brings

Hey there!  I hope everybody had a great week!

I sure did!

Here are some more pictures from when I visited the Children's Museum last weekend.

 

Curious George was there!

Mom, Dad, and I had lots of fun exploring the museum and making some new artwork.

We ate lunch right next to the pendulum.  I tried to sit patiently and wait until the pendulum knocked over one of the pegs.  I didn't quite make it.  Maybe next time.

For homework this week I practiced writing words that begin with the letter "d". Yes, even preschool kids have homework these days!  

I wrote 56 different words that beign with the letter "d".

This week was my Grandpa's birthday (Dad's dad) and my Dad's birthday! 

 

I decorated the whole house for Dad's birthday.

We went to a fall festival that afternoon.  It was so much fun!

 

There were lots of friendly ponies to ride and goats to feed.

I found some flowers at the fall festival.

Before I knew it the day was over and it was time to go home.

That night we had a little campfire at our house and roasted marshmallows.

Everybody had a great time.  Wondering where Mom is in these pictures? 




She and her six housemates from college got together for the weekend. They visited their old stomping grounds, including the house where they used to live. (FYI--the current tenants jokingly call it "Love Pen", as in the street address "110" Love Pen. When Mommy lived there they called it "Seventh Heaven" since there were seven girls living there.)



They all had a wonderful time catching up and having some good laughs together. They reminisced about lots of memories together and made some more great ones.

We are so blessed to have such incredible friends and family, and we love you all!

Elephants and Pixie Dust

Hi there everybody!  This is my friend Victoria!  She is an African elephant at the Pittsburgh Zoo.

Mom and I got to pet her.  It was soooo awesome!  I LOVE elephants!!  Her skin felt bumpy and rough.  But she was really nice. The zoo was a lot of fun. I even got to pet a sting ray and play in a spider web.

This little fella pointed me in the right direction for the sea lion exhibit.

Dad was gone for two long weeks. 

Even Daisy was feeling a little down.  But, Dad finally came home.  Guess where we went!  We went to the museum to see the Curious George exhibit.  It was really neat and we had such a great time.

In other news, I named my toy cow "Dairy".  While somewhat of a simple name for a cow, Dad thought it was better than the alternative, "Steak".

Mom said if I tried a new food (turkey) I could get a new movie - Tinkerbell and the Great Fairy Rescue.  I love it (both the turkey and the movie, but especially the movie)!

Here I am spreading pixie dust around the porch.

It's getting late.  Time for a bath and then off to bed. My bath cups are all full of "pixie dust" too.
