Pumpkins and Paparazzi

Hi there everybody!  Fall is finally here.  This Sunday we took a trip to the pumpkin patch!

There were lots of fun things to do there.  I got to pan for precious stones!

I got a bag of sand and I put it in this wooden box to let the water from the sluice wash away the dirt.

After the water washed away the sand, I picked out all of the pretty stones left behind.

Here are some of the gem stones that I found!

After that, I decided to ride some horses.  This horse was a little too slow.

These horses were a little too big.

This horse's name is Sport.

He was just the right size for me.  I gave him a pat after my ride.

I stopped to look at the sunflowers.  They were really pretty.

Then it was time to head out to the pumpkin patch and find a pumpkin to bring home.

So, we hopped up on  hay wagon and headed out to the pumpkin patch.

We picked three really nice pumpkins.

They were a little smaller than these.

Guess who else was at the pumpkin patch?

That's right, my friend Hanna..

...and Tom Cruise with his wife, Katie, and daughter, Suri!!!

Really, no kidding!  Who knew Mom and Dad hung out with celebrities!

Happy Autumn everyone!

See you guys next week!

First Week of School

Hi there!  Hope everyone had a good week.  I sure did!

I went to kindergarten for the first time!  I went to an orientation day before my first day of school so I could see my new classroom.

Here I am standing in front of my school.  I am in the same class as my neighbor Elliott.  Guess who we met right inside the door.

We met our school principal, Dr. G.  He is super nice.  After that it was off to my classroom.

My teacher had a folder with my name on it waiting for me.  I explored the classroom and introduced myself to some new friends.

The next day, it was time to go to kindergarten!

Mom took lots of pictures in the morning before the bus came.

Then it was off to the bus stop to wait for the bus.  And, here it comes!

Mom and Dad gave me a kiss goodbye and I climbed aboard.  I waved goodbye and away the bus went.  Mom and Dad were really happy to see how much I've grown, but they were also a little sad too.

Even Daisy was a little sad.  It seems like time has flown by.

I had a great first day in kindergarten.  Mom and Dad picked me up and we all went to lunch together.

The next day, my neighbors Oliver and Owen brought their dog Crosby to the bus stop.

He's really friendly.

I had a great first week at school.  I even earned a "Super Listener" award.  I am excited to learn new things at kindergarten.

Over the weekend, Mom, Dad, and I went out to eat to celebrate Mom and Dad's 13th wedding anniversary.

I took this picture in the parking lot of the restaurant.

We ate outside on the restaurant's deck.  We had a lot of laughs together and Mom and Dad share a piece of cake together.

All in all it was a great week and a great weekend!  See you guys next week!

Kindergarten Here I Come!

Hi there!  Notice anything different about me?

That's right!  I lost my second tooth!  The Tooth Fairy came to visit me again.

This past week I also celebrated Grandpa's birthday with him.

While Grandma and Grandpa were here, Mom and Dad went to kindergarten orientation at my new school.  They met the principal and my teacher.  This week Mom, Dad and I are going to a kindergarten open house.  The day after the open house will be my first day of school!!!

Mom and Dad are both going to take me to the bus stop and then meet me at school to make sure I find my way.

I am excited about going to kindergarten.  I am looking forward to making new friends and learning new things.

I can't wait to tell you all about it!
