Birthdays and Parades

Hey there everybody!  Guess who's birthday is on Monday?  It's Grandma's 70th birthday!

It looks like Spring is finally here.  Last week we went to the St. Patrick's Day parade in Pittsburgh.  We had so much fun!  St. Patrick looked like he did too!

There were bagpipe and drum groups and Irish dancers.

I even got a pat on the head from Bishop Zubik.  Here are Mom and me waiting for the parade to start.

I got into the St Patrick's Day spirit with some beaded necklaces.

After the parade we went to the Hofbrauhaus for a late lunch.  It was awesome!  Mom loves German food.  We had spaetzel and schnitzel and German potato salad.  There was even an accordion player who played fun German music.

After lunch we went to REI.  Mom and Dad watched while I climbed the rock wall.  I made it 3/4 of the way to the top.

It has been a busy couple of weeks.  I'm doing well and really looking forward to warm weather so I can play outside more.  Hope everyone has a terrific week!

Is Spring Here Yet?

Hi there everybody!  It snowed again last night.  Not much but enough to make me wonder if Spring will ever be here.  Sorry we haven't taken many pictures lately.  Here are some pictures from the Aviary though. I love visiting the birds there.

This weekend we went to the all school musical.  It was the Wizard of Oz.  We had a really good time.  

Today, Dad and I worked on learning how to write a computer program.  It was pretty fun working on it with Dad.  Hope you have a great week.  I promise to have new pictures next week.
