Birds and Birthday Parties

Hi there everybody!  I am really excited to tell you all about my trip to the National Aviary.

I took Tweedle the robin.  She's one of my favorite stuffed animal friends.  Here we are saying hello to the penguins.  They had all sorts of neat birds there.  Best of all, they would fly right up to you sometimes.

I saw owls, sea eagles, a vulture, a hornbill, a whole bunch of lorekeets, and quite a few more types of birds.  They had a grassland, wetland, tropical rain forest, and desert exhibit.  I had a great day with Mom and Dad.

In other news, I have been coloring and working on art projects lately.

This week was "H" word week at school.  I wrote 103 different "H" words with Mom.  I like doing things together.

Dad had to spend the week in Washington, D.C. but when he came home we went grocery shopping together to make Mom a special dinner.

I chose Brussels sprouts, and sweet potatoes.  A lady at the grocery store said I might be the only kid who wants to eat Brussels sprouts.  Dad and I picked out fresh Brussels sprouts and a sweet potato that was misplaced in the broccoli section.

I love Brussels sprouts!  After dinner we had the dessert that Dad and I made....

...raspberry shortcake!  I helped Dad mix the dough and bake the shortcakes.

Last weekend, I went to my friend Elliott's birthday party.  It was awesome!

Elliott had a dinosaur birthday party.  Everyone had a great time.

That's it for this week.  More stories and pictures next week!  Have a happy Thanksgiving!

October Fun

Welcome back!  We have a lot of catching up to do. I still have a whole bunch of pictures to share from the Pumpkin Show.

I loved watching the Pumpkin Show parades. This is the Pumpkin Show float that I made.  I also enjoyed lots of rides.

Can you believe how many rides there were? Neither could I! I also got to ride two ponies. The brown pony's name was Jelly Bean and the white pony's name was King.

Here are some more pictures of us at Pumpkin Show.   We all had a really good time!

When I came home, it was almost time for Halloween. We had a Halloween Party at school.

I wore my pink poodle costume.

My friend Carmen had a Halloween party at her house right before we went trick or treating.

Carmen dressed up as a Bat-erina and Elliott dressed up like a dinosaur.  I loved my pink poodle costume!

Look at all of the candy I got! Mom let's me have a little at a time.

Now that we are all caught up from the Pumpkin Show and Halloween, I have a new adventure to share.  I went to the National Aviary with Mom and Dad.  It was really fun. There were so many interesting birds there!

I have lots of pictures and stories to share about the aviary.  Stay tuned...see you guys next week!

Pumpkins and Poodles

Hi there everybody!  Sorry I've missed a week or two.  I am still sorting through all of my pictures from the last few weeks!

I have lots of new adventures to share.  I went to the Pumpkin Show!

My cousins, Megan, Liam, Grayson, and I had a great time.  Right after the Pumpkin Show it was tie for Halloween.  This year I dressed up as a pink poodle!

My school had a Halloween party and I went trick or treating with my friends in the neighborhood.

I have more pictures to share and stories to tell.  See you guys next week!
