Pumpkins, Helicopters and Penmanship?

Hi there everybody! It was a big week for me two weeks ago. I went to the Pumpkin Show! I finally put all of my pictures on the computer - actually Dad helped me with that one.

I had an awesome time at the Pumpkin Show. There were rides, the Pumpkin Show Man, ponies, and parades. Here we are watching one of the parades together.

Dad is smiling because he just ate two sauerkraut hot dogs from Schmidts. Mom is just trying to breathe.

I rode lots of rides. One of my favorite rides was the miniature cars and motorcycles. Here is Megan and me zooming around the track.

I went to the Pumpkin Show with Mom, Dad, Megan, Liam, Grayson, both sets of grandparents, Uncle Ned, Aunt Robin, and Aunt Maresa.

We all had lots of pumpkin fun together. I like Liam's Ohio State hat.

After the cars, Megan and I decided to take a helicopter ride.

The ride hadn't quite started yet but we were ready to take off!

After that it was time for the Ferris wheel. It was just the right size for kids like me!

Liam rode it by himself last year. This year I was big enough to ride it with him.

Megan and I rode the Ferris wheel too!

One of my favorite rides was the Scrambler. It made me dizzy.

Megan and Liam rode it with me too!

It made us all laugh! We all had fun at Pumpkin Show.

There is something about pumpkins that makes you smile.

Especially Buckeye fans.

Pumpkin Show brought some other big news. I wrote "Ohio". Dad and I were typing on the computer and I asked for a pencil and paper.

Out of the blue, I told Dad that you spell Ohio "O"......"h"......."i"....."o". I wrote each letter as I said them! I have some pictures of me in the park and maybe some more Pumpkin Show pictures to share still. See you guys next week!

I Love the Pumpkin Show!

Hi there! The Pumpkin Show just ended after a week of pony rides, giant slides, and everything pumpkin!

Dad has 1,159 pictures and movies to sort through. So this week, we thought we would just bring you a few quick pictures.

My cousin Megan and I rode the ferris wheel together.

Later on in the week, my cousins Liam and Grayson came to the Pumpkin Show. Here is Liam riding in a truck with me.

Can you guess who this might be? She was at the Pumpkin Show too!

I'll give you a hint. We may be related...........

I'll see you guys next week with with lots of pictures and the answer to this week's genealogy question.

Picking Pumpkins at the Pumpkin Patch

Hi there everybody! It's finally Fall and the weather was perfect to go pick some pumpkins this past Saturday.

Dad, what do you mean there aren't any pumpkins left?

Dad was just kidding. There are lots and lots of pumpkins at the pumpkin patch.

Not only are there pumpkins, but the pumpkin patch has pony rides too!

This was my favorite pony. His name is Harley. I called him "pony". I also told everyone that ponies go potty outside. Mom and Dad were very proud of me for that one.

I picked out my very own pumpkin.

Actually, this isn't the pumpkin I picked out. The one I chose is shaped like an egg and doesn't have a stem. Mom and Dad called it a Charley Brown pumpkin, but I think it is perfect.

After Mom and Dad had some caramel corn to build up some energy to chase me all over the farm, I got to ride Harley again!

Right next to the pony rides was an inflatable jumper in the shape of a pony.

I had lots of fun jumping around with the other kids.

Speaking of other kids, there was a haunted school bus at the farm too. I hopped right up in the driver's seat and opened and closed the bus doors. Whenever anyone came on the bus I held out my hand and said "Ticket please". It was fun to pretend.

Not only did they have caramel corn, pony rides, and a jumper, but they also had a train ride.

I wasn't scared at all. Mom and Dad put me in the barrel and off I went.

Niagara Falls is next!

Some other things I was up to this week included going to Oberweis Dairy for ice cream. I usually manage to take a couple of licks before it starts forming a puddle on the floor. Mom said "That a girl!" every time I licked my ice cream, and I reminded her, "That's what Grandpa M. says!".

Doesn't this ice cream look good?

I wore my pretty apple dress that Aunt Robin, Uncle Ned, and Megan gave me to Church. I was very well behaved in Church and even said "Lord hear our prayer" at just the right times. I was also the loudest.

See you guys next week!
