All Smiles

Hi there!

Who needs a smile this week?

I've got plenty more where that came from.  Mom snapped a couple of pictures this morning while I was eating my breakfast.

I had scrambled eggs, cantaloupe, bread, and milk.  I have been working really hard on eating "big girl" food. Meals sure take me quite a while, but I'm getting better little by little. Mom and Dad are really, really proud of me, and I am too!

After breakfast I dressed Daisy up like a hula girl.

I think she looks very pretty. This coming week is soccer camp.  I am so excited!

I better rest up for "Pee Wee Kickers" practice. See you guys next week.

A Very Special Weekend

Anyone know this happy couple?

If you guessed my Grandma and Grandpa R. (Mom's parents), you're right!
Grandma was such a beautiful bride, and Grandpa was a very handsome groom on their wedding day 40 years ago. CONGRATULATIONS AND HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, Grandma and Grandpa!!!

We suprised them with a quick visit this weekend to help them celebrate.
We also wanted to wish Mom's Dad and Dad's Dad a very HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
It was really nice to spend a little extra time with our families.

Hope all you dads out there had a great Father's Day, too.
Of course, I have to say to my own--HAPPY FATHER'S DAY, SUPER DADDY!
I love you!

Catching Up

Future Olympians!

The last day of gymnastics class was a special show for friends and family.  At the end, we all received a medal for doing a good job.

Here I am bouncing down the trampoline, my favorite gymnastics event.

As I mentioned in the last blog, I have lots of fun adventures to share.  My cousin Megan, Uncle Ned, Grandma, Grandpa, and Mom all came to my gymnastics show.  After gymnastics we just had to jump in some puddles!

Back to the business of being a kid.  Next stop--the zoo!

There are always so many fun things to see and do at the zoo!

Take a look at our backyard; I really liked him and Mom said I could keep him.

I named him Giraffey.  He isn't really my pet, but I wish he was.

I think he would have fun playing with my dachshund and beta fish.

There were so many interesting creatures to learn about.  Here is a pretty starfish.

Grandpa, Uncle Ned, and Megan hung out with some sharks.

I gave the sea lions a high five.

Uncle Ned and Megan had a lot of fun.

Before we knew it the day was over and it was time to go home.

We even had a pajama party!!!

Later on that week we took a trip to Idlewild Park, a really fun amusement park.

We all had a great time!

There was a Story Book Forest to explore with lots of classic nursery rhyme tales brought to life....

....yikes...

....and rides to ride....

....and hugs for eveyone.

We had a terrific day together.

Time went by so fast, the next thing we knew Mom and Uncle Ned both celebrated their birthdays!

Megan and I helped blow out the candles.

Guess who came to visit this past weekend?  Grandma and Grandpa (Dad's parents)!

Grandma and Grandpa brought me a purple hula-hoop!  We went to the Pittsburgh Children's Museum on Saturday and then out to eat together.

We had a nice time visiting with each other.

I'm so glad that I've been able to spend time with my family this summer.  There still lots more summer to go and I'm sure I'll have even more memories to share.  See you next week!

It's Been a Big Week!

Hi there everybody.  This week has been a big week.  Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Ned, and my cousin Megan came to visit!

We had sooooooo much fun together.  We went to the zoo and Idlewild Amusement Park.

We took a lot of pictures of our adventures.  Dad has a lot of work to do sort them all out.

So, this is it for now.  But I'll make sure Dad keeps working on it this week.
