I See Two Barneys!

Now that my endoscopy is in the rear-view mirror I thought I might share a story from that day. In preparation for the procedure I was given Versed. It makes me really sleepy. Mom and Dad weren't sure if it was working or not because I was sitting on Mom's lap smiling and giggling while I watched Barney. For those who don't know, Barney is a very large purple dinosaur. After a couple minutes, Mom said that she thought the Versed was working. Almost right on cue I said, "I see two Barneys."

Well, it's time for professional pictures again. Here are some of Mom and Dad's favorite pictures. My favorites are the ones you can see my toes.

I am quite the singer. My formula was delivered and in true Dad style, why would he put it away the day it was delivered when he could wait until the next day. My formula boxes make the perfect stage. This is my rendition of Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes.

Thank you. Thank you very much.

Guess who had a birthday!

Mom's friend Melissa had a birthday. I had lots of fun playing with Taylor, Tyson, Avery, and Grant. Everyone helped blow out the candles.

See you guys next week!

That's One Big Chicken!

Happy Easter everybody!

This has been a pretty good run for me. I hunted Easter eggs in two states - no bag limit and no license required - played with my cousins, and celebrated Megan's birthday!

It takes a long time to color an egg right. Is it done yet? Nope. Not yet.

Here I am at Dad's parents house! This was about the only time Grandma and Grandpa could get me to sit still for a picture.

Liam, Grayson and I had some Easter egg hunting to get done.

We ran all over Grandma and Grandpa's yard looking for eggs.

Aunt Maresa helped Grayson find some eggs. He was still new to the game having only recently been through St. Patrick's Day!

Grandpa helped too! He has many years of expertise in egg finding.

After we found all of the eggs, we all headed inside where Liam and I gave a lovely piano recital.

I'm Josh Groban and you're Sarah Bareilles!

Can you tell what we're playing? Nope? Neither can we. We just know whatever it is it sounds better really loud.

Who's this handsome devil? Grayson is sooo lucky that he can still wear the pajamas with the feet.

Here's Grandma with Liam and Grayson.

After a while, Liam and I played with the same toys that Dad and his brother and sister played with when they were little. I guess some things never get old.

Is it done yet?

Nope. Not yet.

After I spent the day hunting Easter eggs it was time to get ready for Megan's birthday party.

Hey! Shut that door. It's getting cold in here!

After I fixed my hair, I hung around in the living room when all of a sudden I heard a car door slam then the door bell ring. Who could be here I wonder?

It was Maezhen and Kaiyu!

Wait who else....it's Aunt Robin's sister Lisa and her husband Larry!

Everybody came to celebrate Megan's birthday!

She is three years old!

Hey where did everybody go?

That's better. Now it's time to party!

Here are some more pictures from Megan's party.

Megan got a pretty pink bicycle for her birthday!

Hey....is that egg done yet?

Hold on, lemme check.

Nope. Not yet.

By the way here are some more pictures of Megan and me coloring eggs......

How about we play with a big blue ball while we wait?

Megan, Maezhen, and I had lots of fun at Megan's party.

After awhile, everyone went home. The only people left were Megan and me.

It was a big day for Megan.

Someday I want to be three too.

After Megan's party Mom, Grandma, and Grandpa came home to Indiana.

We went to church together on Easter.

Here are some Easter pictures from home.

After we went looking for eggs, we blew bubbles.

Hey Macy, is that egg done yet?

Hold on let me check.

Almost, but not yet.

I'm going to keep working on that egg. In the meantime, I'll see.......

....you guys....

next week!

I'm Not a Baby I'm a Big Girl!

Hi there? I'm in Ohio this weekend with Mom. I colored Easter eggs with Liam and celebrated Megan's birthday. I'm having a lot of fun despite the sniffles.

Dad stayed home because he had to work. While he was home, he fixed our computer. King of the nerds, that's my dad. I promise to post all of my new pictures next week! Until then, what do you think of this picture?

Can you believe how much I've grown? Me neither. See you guys next week.

That Fruit is Bananas...B..A..N..A..N..A..S!

Hi everybody! Hope you had a good week. I know everyone in Ohio is probably still shoveling snow. I only saw a few snowflakes here. That was pretty disappointing since I had my sled laid out and ready to go. Oh well.

Mmmmmm. A banana. Usually I just throw them over the side of the shopping cart to Mom's dismay. But lately, I've been asking for one so Mom and Dad figure why not? I don't eat it, but I've got the right idea.

Here I am shopping. One evening, I put on my blue sunglasses and my ladybug purse and decided it was time to shop.

I share Mom's love of Target. What can I say?

Here is a video of my "shopping" at home.

See, what did I tell you about Target. Like mother like daughter.

Well, Easter is quickly approaching. So here is a little clip just to get you in the mood for those Easter egg hunts.

By the way, my tests at Riley Children's Hospital so far came back just fine. Doctor Gupta showed Mom and Dad pictures of the inside of my tummy and small intestine. Now they really can say they know me inside and out. It will be another week or so until I receive the final lab results. Mom and Dad had Doctor Wendell, a dentist check out my teeth. All systems are a "go"! They also had me tested for allergies to peanuts, pecans, walnuts, almods, blah, blah, blah. All I know is when I woke up I still had an IV in my arm and I was not happy!

That's all for this week. See you guys later!

Corn Dogs.....Growl!

Watch out here I come! Even though it snowed another 6 inches this week, Mom and I had fun together.

We went to an indoor play area that had slides, and tunnels, and things to climb on. Mom's friend Melissa and her kids Taylor and Tyson came with us to play! Taylor is a little older than I am but we always have fun together. She liked to go down the slide too!

This is Taylor's little brother Tyson. He is still fairly new to the playground scene so his mom had to show him around.

Once he took the playground tour he had lots of fun too. His birthday is in another week. Can you guess how old he will be?

Well, this weekend Mom worked at the hospital, so Dad and I spent Saturday together. Dad put some baby food carrots on a spoon for me to taste. I let him put a little on my bottom lip. After that he asked me what they tasted like. I told him..."Carrots!" and then made a face. A couple minutes later I said, "They are vegetables." See, I'm paying attention to all those books Mom and Dad read to me.

One of my favorite books has a bear in it. He looks sleepy like Dad. Mom taught me how to growl just like the bear. Check it out!

Other things that I learned are Mom and Dad's first names. Mom's name is Jill and Dad's name is Ryan. I like to play in forts that Dad builds out of the couch cushions. I am also starting to enjoy brushing my teeth. But one of my favorite things to do is repeat everything that I hear.

Dad taught me that one when Mom wasn't around.

Well, I will be heading down to Riley Children's Hospital this Thursday for an endoscopy or as BlueCross BlueShield refers to it - the only medical procedure they haven't tried yet. The feeding clinic at Johns Hopkins says that I need it done just to make sure that I am not allergic to anything so they can be super aggressive in the treatment program. As you can tell from my bear growl, I am aggressive.

By the way, if you are on the brink of your sanity from kids music like Mom and Dad were I recommend trying some of Laurie Berkner's music. Grandma saw it on TV and told Mom about it. Her music is a welcome break from the Christmas music I ask for all the time. Frosty. Frosty the Snowman? All of her songs have fun lyrics that a 2 year old can dance to but aren't nearly annoying as the Doodle-Bops. If you have no idea who the Doodle-Bops are consider yourself lucky.

Have a great week everyone! See you soon!
