I Am Worn Out From Traveling

Hi there! I spent part of the week in Ohio visiting my cousin Megan and both sets of grandparents.

I have lots of adventures to share but first it is time to get some sleep. I promise to have plenty of stories and pictures next week!

Grandma and Grandpa Came to Visit!!

Guess who came to visit?

Grandma and Grandpa!!!!!

We had so much fun together. I showed them around my new house. We played lots of games together and shared a lot of laughs.

We sat on the couch together and talked and talked. Grandpa read some books to me. Grandma gave me a Care Bear pillow case to match the blanket she made me. I sleep with that Care Bear blanket every night. We all had a very nice visit.

Carnival Fun!

Hey let's all go the the carnival! Which way? Which way?

Mom, Dad and I headed out to the annual community festival. I called it a "carnibal". There was lots to do and see there.

Dad and I built a toolbox together at Home Depot's booth. It took both of us to figure out how all the pieces fit together.

Then it was time to hammer some nails. Dad told me that building a toolbox teaches good problem solving skills. For example if you really need a screw driver but all you have is a hammer, then a hammer will work just fine.

Mom's advice was to keep my fingers out of the glue.

Given that I have a nailed together toolbox without getting glue on my hands, I think I know everything I need for bigger and better things. Any vacancies at the UN or the International Monetary Fund?

No? Anyway, back to the "carnibal". There were lots of rides to ride and things to see there. I petted a dog and ate some popcorn. Dad and I rode on the Sizzler together.

Dad says you have to say...."SIZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZLAAAAA!", but whatever.

It was pretty fun, even though Dad isn't a really big fan of spinning in circles. Mom, Dad, and I went through the Monkey Fun House. You had to find your way through a maze of clear glass. I had a lot of red marks on the noggin by the time I figured out how to get through to the end.

Then.....it was time for the roller coaster!

I was big enough to ride it all by myself! It was awesome!

Mom and Dad stood along the track and cheered as I went by them.

They might have taken a few thousand pictures somewhere in those six laps around the track.

When we were walking around the "carnibal" I saw my friend Elliot and his Dad.

We're neighbors and we play together in our yards

We had a really good time walking around together. We even danced to a little Donna Summer!

Toot, toot! Beep, beep!

Later that night Mom, Dad, and I found a nice grassy hill to spread out a blanket and watch some fireworks. I really liked the red ones.

Before I knew it....it was Sunday morning. Time for church!

I wore my fish dress.

After church I petted Daisy and spent the rest of the day outside. That's it for this week. See you guys soon!

Happy 4th!

Hi there everybody! Happy Fourth of July!

I had lots of fun this Fourth of July. Mom's cousin Adam and his wife Vicky stopped by during their visit to Pittsburgh. We had a very nice time catching up. Adam and Vicky just got married so it was fun to hear about their wedding and honeymoon cruise.

Then our neighbors invited us to their Fourth of July party. There were tons of kids to play with and I had fun riding big wheels, swinging on the swings, and playing on their play set. Mom and Dad met lots of new people. Then we watched some fireworks!

Here I am in my Fourth of July dress that I wore to church. I even made a special cake! I sure would like to take a lick of the frosting. I wonder if anyone is looking?

Hmmm. This cake is pretty big. I wonder if Mom and Dad would like a piece?

Here. I'll just use my hands to cut it into pieces!

Just kidding. It isn't a real cake. It's just one of my toys!

After church, I changed into shorts and a t-shirt to enjoy the rest of the day with Mom and Dad.

Dad mowed the lawn while Mom and I rode around the neighborhood together on our bikes. Before I knew it, it was time for a bath. Do I really have to go to bed Mom?

How about a really big smile and then we can play some more?
