Merry Christmas! Buzzzz. Buzzzz.

Hi there! Merry Christmas everybody! I hope everyone had a nice holiday with family and friends. I started mine off by baking some cookies with Mom for Santa and his reindeer.

I left them out on Christmas Eve with some milk for Santa and water for his reindeer.

And, you know what?

When I came downstairs the next morning they were all gone!

Since they were gone, I decided to look around the house to make sure.

Nope, no cookies in my stocking. Just presents!

Speaking of presents........................

Look what I found underneath our Christmas tree!

There were lots and lots of presents for me from Santa!

It was really fun opening all of them. Even Daisy was speechless.

Look what I got. Eggs! Well, they aren't really eggs. It is a matching game. Inside the egg carton there are a dozen haystacks with animals hiding underneath.

I love matching games!

This present was very cool. It is a melodica. Dad helped Santa find it on eBay.

It is actually a woodwind instrument made in Germany. Believe it or not, I can actually play it. Now Mom can play the ukulele, Dad can play the drum, and I can play the melodica in the family band.

Santa gave me one big gift this year. It is an inflatable jumper.

It looks like a castle and it takes up almost my entire playroom downstairs.

Well, Christmas in Indiana went by pretty quickly. Next stop Ohio!

After a couple of quick pictures we got to the fun stuff.....presents!

Last year I wasn't too big on opening my own presents. This year, I wanted to open everyone else's presents.

Mom and Dad call me their little Christmas cookie in my red dress.

Megan and I played Hungry Hippos and HoneyBees.

We had lots of fun.

After I opened my presents, I helped Grandpa open his Christmas gifts.

It was a very fun night. I stayed up really late playing with my cousin Megan. But, before I knew it........

Christmas was here again!

I think my cousin Liam pretty much covers how I felt about that.

Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Mike, and Aunt Maresa decided to get a quick snack.

My cousin Grayson found the plastic Wise Men. Those things are child magnets.

Dad said that when he was a kid, he, his brother and sister played with them too!

Uncle Casey, Aunt Maresa, and Liam are reading a book together after we opened our gifts.

Liam and I played in the Christmas sleigh together.

Can you guess who is the reindeer?

Snow is on its way where are you Santa?

It's so cold outside that there isn't much to do but sit around the house with Rudolph.

Dad is finally home for an entire weekend, so we had fun together while Mom prepared for the holidays.

On Saturday night, we had pizza for dinner. Here is a short movie of me talking about my pizza. This conversation actually lasted about 15 minutes before I decided to move on.

Holiday Fashion

Well, hello there. You caught me right before I was about to head out to do a little Christmas shopping.

You should always look your very best whenever you peruse the aisles of Target or Kohls.

I almost didn't have time to get ready. I have a busy schedule of school and gymnastics these days.

I started learning how to do a cartwheel in gymnastics.

Mom, Grandma and Grandpa took me to the mall for some pictures. It was fun. I dressed up like a ballerina.

Then I played my guitar a little.

I love playing almost any musical instrument. I really enjoy playing the piano at Grandma's house. Unfortunately for Mom and Dad my obsession with percussion instruments has not yet abated. I started with a xylophone, progressed to the drums, and then every pot and pan in the kitchen. I even like watching the Blue Man Group in YouTube. Maybe Dad will make a PVC pipe instrument for me. I have no doubt that I could paint myself blue.

And....here are some random things that I am working on. I can count to 100 and am now working on phonics. I was also working on my indoor field hockey skills with a foam baseball bat before Dad took it away.

Holiday Water Slide

Hey! Let's get into a holiday mood out there.

That's better.

We finally got snow, and a lot of it.......at least for a little while. So, out I went to go sledding.

Grandma and Grandpa stopped by so we built a BIG snowman.

Mr. Frosty is feeling kind of sad and mushy because it warmed up a little.

We also did a little shopping. Now that's my kind of holiday fun.

Right Mr. Alligator?

Dad had to spend Thanksgiving at work this year. But, Mom and I went home to spend it with family. We had Thanksgiving dinner with Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle Mike, Aunt Maresa, Uncle Casey, Liam, and Grayson.

We had so much fun! Liam and I rode our ponies all over the house.

Grandma and Uncle Mike kept an eye on Thanksgiving dinner.

Everyone had a great time. The next day we all went to Grandma and Grandpa's house.

We all fit in Grandpa's chair. My favorite thing to do is play the piano.

I may not be able to play many songs, but I can definitely play them loud!

It wouldn't be Thanksgiving without a trip to COSI with Grandpa, Uncle Ned, and Megan.

I really had a lot of fun at COSI. My favorite exhibits were the ones with water.

This is what I looked like after finding a couple of the water exhibits. I was the only kid there who looked like I took a trip to a swimming pool instead of a museum. What can I say? I'm my father's daughter.
