Hi there! Well it's almost Thanksgiving. The school year has been flying by. I thought I would share a picture of the awesome Halloween costume that Mom made for me. It started out as a foldable laundry hamper if you can believe that!
This is a picture of me at an indoor rock climbing facility near our house.
These are some pictures from our family vacation. It is getting cold outside so Dad thought it might be nice to remember the warm weather at the beach.
Every year we eat dinner on the beach at least one night.
Hi everyone. Just catching up a little. This year Mom and Dad celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary.
They were able to spend the day together and had a nice time at lunch.
In other news, Mom took me to the indoor rock climbing facility.
I had a really good time. I guess I don't have Dad's fear of heights.
Today was the Fall Festival for my neighborhood. I dressed up as a bag of cotton candy. All of my friends were there. It was a great time. Hope everyone has a terrific week!
Hi there everybody! Well it has been awhile since I posted to the blog. It seems like life has been moving pretty fast now that I am in middle school.
I am enjoying sixth grade. It took a little getting used to having a locker and a new schedule but I am feeling good about my new school.
Now that I am in middle school, Elizabeth doesn't come to the bus stop anymore. She is always waiting for me as soon as I walk home.
Mom had a birthday. Dad had a birthday. And they celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary. Sometimes it's good just to stop and smell the roses - or in this case the tulips.
Have a great week and I will post again next week.
Welcome back! It has been awhile since I posted to the blog. In fact I haven't posted since Halloween so there is a lot to catch up on.
I had an eventful few months.
This picture is from the Catholic Museum in Columbus. Unfortunately, it is only a cardboard likeness of Pope Francis, It would have been wonderful to be standing with him in person.
I had one of the two lead roles in my school's Fall play. I worked really hard to learn my lines but it was a lot of fun.
I played the part of a young girl who was learning how to be responsible.
There were quite a few lines for me to memorize. But, I studied and practiced with my friends.
We put on a great show!
Here I am with my friend Hope and our drama teacher.
I also participated in the combined Strings and Chorus Concert at my school.
We sang several songs and I played the violin.
Before I knew it, it was time to get ready for Santa to come.
I am putting some cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer together.
The next morning it was time to open presents!
After Christmas at our house we headed to Ohio to have Christmas with the rest of our family.
Here we are with Grandma, Uncle Ned, and Megan.
We also spent time with Dad's family.
Grandpa is opening a present.
Uncle Mike and Grandma are opening gifts too.
As I mentioned earlier, we visited the Catholic Museum in Columbus. It was very interesting, and there were lots of things to learn.
Of course, I couldn't forget Elizabeth. She had a nice holiday season too.
I hope everyone is safe and warm. We are thinking of you and wishing you the very best in 2017.
