Macy is ENORMOUS!

We took Macy to Riley Children's Hospital this past week. Doctor O'Neil was very pleased with her progress. Unfortunately, the feeding tube is still a part of our daily routine. Macy came in at 20 inches, 7.2 pounds. Ding! As Dan Patrick from ESPN would say..."beefy". She has the cutest chubby little legs now.

Macy is taking half of her feeding from the bottle and whatever is left over through the feeding tube. We also introduced her to the hours of fun that can had from swinging in her swing. She especially likes the zebra on her mobile. We think it is because it has the highest contrast of all of the animals. Macy likes to cry when she is bored but continues to sleep through the night, most of her feedings, going to the bathroom, and almost everything else. What she does not sleep through is her parents eating dinner, talking on the phone, cleaning the house, and any other every day task.

We have a whole lot of pictures to share; so many that it is hard to decide which ones to post. We are also working on turning Macy into a movie star for her family. Dad hasn't quite figured out how to transfer the home movies from video camera to computer. He's still working on it. We think that Macy will most likely play herself, a baby, with some cameo appearances by her parents and her dog, Daisy.

Macy will be baptized on Saturday, November 5, 2005 after the 5:30 PM mass. Hopefully, she won't cry too much. She seems to enjoy taking a bath now and then so maybe a little holy water won't be too bad.

We will try to keep the blog up to date. Macy is everything we could have hoped for and dreamed of in a child. She is all smiles, funny noises, and tiny little fingers and toes. Best of all she's our daughter and we are so happy to share her with each of you.
