An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Well, that is the first myth that I've busted since I'm headed to Riley Childrens Hospital tomorrow.

Tomorrow I have a check-up with Doctor Havlik. He is the totally amazing pediatric plastic surgeon who closed my cleft palate. I also have an appointment with the dentist. I'm sure it will be a scream....quite literally.

How about a plastic hamburger, anybody think that'll keep the doctor away?

Nahhhh, I didn't think so either.

It was a surprisingly slow week around our house. No running with scissors for Dad or frosting Daisy with cheese-wiz for me. I did manage to try on a new pair of gloves.

Check out my man hands! Dad says they will be great for helping him shovel the snow in the driveway. Hope you all have a great week!
