Summer Fun

Hi everybody!  Sorry I missed blogging last week.  We have enjoyed a lot of company lately.  But we started off by celebrating Mom's birthday!

I helped Dad bake her birthday cake and came up with the idea that we should give her some flowers too!

Right after Mom's birthday, Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Ned, and Megan came to visit!

Uncle Ned had a birthday too!  A BIG birthday!!!

We went played outside and went to the zoo. 

We even went to Idlewild!

It was SO much fun.

Megan and I slide down the big slide, rode around in the antique cars, and played in the ball pit.

After all that fun we came home and listened to a story.

We had a great time together.

Everyone had big smiles.

Later on that same week, Grandma and Grandpa (Dad's parents) came to visit too!

We went to the Phipps Conservatory to look at all of the pretty flowers and butterflies

There was so much to see and do there.  The orchid room smelled wonderful. 

But, I like chasing the butterflies the best.

Even though the conservatory was exciting, I found a quite spot to examine some leaves I found.

After the conservatory we all played one of my favorite games, Cooking Cookies.  It was a lot of fun.  Ready, set bake!

Later on that weekend, we celebrated Father's Day!

In other news, I have been raising some ladybugs and butterflies of my own.  This weekend it was time to let them go.

I'll miss them.
