Hey there everybody! Hope you're having a great summer.
Mine has been pretty awesome so far.
Mom, Dad, and I went to Luray Caverns in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley . It is filled with stalactites and stalagmites. It was a really neat experience.
The cave wasn't drippy or damp. It was around 65 degrees the whole way through.
There was even a pool of water that we could make a wish and throw a penny in!
After the cave, all three of us went climbing on the ropes course there.
It was actually pretty high up in the air. Mom and Dad both did it with me even though heights are not something either one of them particularly like....
...especially Dad.
As fun as that day was, I was so looking forward to what came next.
I went to a Taylor Swift concert!!!!!! AND IT WAS AWESOME!!!!
I went with my friend Kylie.
The concert was at Nationals Park. We got there really early since it was our first concert as a family.
Mom was able to pick out terrific seats for us. We sat almost directly in front of the stage. We could see the stage and the monitors really well.
There were three opening acts, Shawn Mendes, Vance Joy, and Haim. Then Taylor Swift took the stage. Everyone had bracelets that would light up according to the music's beat.
Taylor Swift really gave a great performance. Her stage kind of broke mid-way through but she kept going. It was spectacular!
Before we knew it the concert was over and it was time to head home.
It was a really exciting weekend. I was so glad that Mom and Dad and I got to share it together and that I can share it with you.

Hi Macy! What an amazing summer you are having! The photos are fantastic! You look so cute and grown up. I am glad you enjoyed the awesome Taylor Swift concert. That is so exciting. The concert, the climbing, and the caverns all are special experiences. This is a summer you will never forget. Even Elizabeth is smiling.
