Macy's Milestones!

Today we passed an important milestone in Macy's life. She has officially outgrown premie diapers and outfits and is now wearing newborn size. She asked for something in an "A" line with a little beading, but we thought we'd stick with Winnie the Pooh and friends for at least anothre 5-8 years. Today we took a stroller ride and she slept almost the entire way except for when Dad did a little off-roading in the grass with the stroller.

Macy is a 8 lbs and .4 ounces. It is the .4 ounces that really make her feel heavy. Her activities include sleeping, eating, and going through about a kazillion diapers a day. She has a Gymborie now and really enjoys ringing the chime that looks like a duck. She has also found the mirror. Macy is a smart little girl and already knows to cry whenever we are eating or whenever one of the family calls - if only we could teach her to cry when the telemarketers call! Macy also likes to swing and look out the window.

Daisy has really taken her demotion well. So far, she licks Jill's face when Macy cries. Today she decided to take a closer look at what our little bundle of arms and legs was all about. She sniffed Macy's feet and promptly licked her toes. Afterwards, Daisy resumed her watch from a pillow on the couch.
