Check Out My Crazy Hairdo

Hi there! Happy Father's Day everyone! This year was Mom and Dad's very first Mother's Day and Father's Day. Normally, I wouldn't take any credit but.......

As you can see I am growing and growing. Mom almost has to stuff me in my pink swim suit! This is a picture of me crawling around the house. This weekend I set the family land speed record for crawling from the living room to the kitchen. I usually chase Mom all over the house or I go dachshund hunting! I love following Daisy everywhere. She and I are becoming fast friends. I feed Daisy all of the food that I don't want to eat. Daisy licks my face, hands, and feet. I try to grab her tail, but she is usually too quick.

I now hold the title of the "Loudest Baby in Church" two weeks running. Mom and Dad are fast becoming the couple that no one wants to sit in front of or behind. Dad will take me out of Mass and I will quiet down so he will bring me back in so I can sing with everyone else. I usually like agreeing with the homily or the petitions too.

This is me getting ready for my 10 Month pictures in the front yard.
"Hey, zip it. We're getting ready to take some pictures over here!"

And this is the final result.

Yep, this is me at 10 Months.

At 10 Months I can do a lot of things. I have really grown up in such a short time. Mom calls me her little lady. Mom says that there are lots of girlie things to look forward to doing together. She said we can paint our fingernails with glitter, look for sandals with flowers on the straps, and do our hair together. Speaking of hair, check out my new "do" in this picture.

Mom fluffed up my hair after a dip in the pool. It is really growing fast in the back. The breeze will make it wave back and forth. Mom and Dad think that I will have hair like Dad since it started out dark brown.

We spent all weekend out and about (between eating, naps, and diapers). Mom and Dad took me for a walk around the neighborhood. Dad carried me the entire way - no stroller! The next day I got to swing in my swing on the front porch. And, best of all, I took another swim in my pool! This time it was outside on our deck. I played with my toys and splashed and splashed. When I was tired of swimming, I stood up on Dad's side of the pool and tried to climb out on my own. I haven't quite gotten the climbing thing down quite yet. I can climb on Mom to get to the couch. I have also started to crawl over the top of Mom and Dad instead of just going around.

This is a picture of me in my pool! I love playing with my lobster. It doubles as a thermometer. I also have a toy boat and some fish. The fish are three different sizes. The smallest fish can be swallowed by the medium size one. The medium size fish can be eaten by the big fish. They are really neat.

I try and try to get Daisy to jump in the pool with me but she acts like she can't hear me. She mostly just lays underneath our deck furniture and blinks her eyes at me.

I don't cry when water gets on my face - not even a single tear. Dad says when my eyelashes are wet they look just a like a super model's. Mom wants to know why Dad is checking out super models eyelashes. Dad says Mom is his super model. Too late Dad, Mom is on to you.

This Mom and me after my dip in the pool. I am wearing my swim suit cover-up.

This is me swinging on my front porch. Can you guess who is pushing my swing?

It's Dad! Here we are sharing a laugh.

Finally, I wanted to share with everyone my "who me?" look. I usually give this look to Mom and Dad immediately following a loud crash. Case in point, I am sitting next to the bookcase in this picture. It is to my right, your left - just out of sight. No matter how many times Mom picks me up and puts me down in front of my toys there is no substitute for pulling down the books or trying to climb up the book case.

Mom tried to out-smart me by putting toys on the shelf to distract me. You can even see one, it's a purple unicorn, in my hand. But, considering I have the toy in my hand and my "who me?" face on, I don't think Mom's idea is working.

That's all the blogging I can do for now. Next week, pool side video of me! Mom and Dad had lots of fun watching me splash around and hopefully next week they will be able to share it with you.

And if anyone finds some little fingerprints on the bookcase and books everywhere....."who me?"
