Hi everybody! It has been another exciting week here at home. This week, I played outside in the pool and had a play date with Mom's friend Melissa, her daughter Taylor, and her son Tyson.

It was pretty hot here in Indiana. So I spent a lot of time in the pool with my rubber ducks.

I took this picture myself. Who knew my arms were even long enough!
Swimming was fun, but Mom kept noticing there were always a lot of bees around. Well, today, Dad and I were in the backyard and I got my first lesson about bees. Mom was upstairs so Dad and I were throwing my soccer bar against the siding to try and scare her.

Dad was mainly the one throwing the soccer bar but I was giggling. The ball would hit the second story of our house, roll down the roof and hop off of our down spout. After about three bounces off the gutter the down spout erupted in a swarm of bugs that looked really angry.
I looked at Dad and he looked at me. Then with eyes as big as saucers he yelled, "BEES"! The next the I knew we were hurtling towards the fence on the other side of the yard. Afterward, Dad said that I should never be too proud to run away from bees. So that's what I learned. Oh, I also learned that Mom can't hear my soccer ball when it hits the side of the house upstairs.
Here's one more picture of me playing. I'm a little blurry because I am running, but Mom and Dad wanted to include an action shot of me.

I run everywhere. It doesn't matter if I'm at the fair, upstairs, downstairs, at Target, story hour, or even by the pool (oh my!). See you guys next week if you can keep up. Bzzzzzzzzzzz!
