After over 23 years in business, Grandma and Grandpa decided it was time to retire. They started in the quick printing industry by purchasing an Ink Well franchise. Several years later they decided to buy-out their franchise agreement and become Circle Printing.
When Grandma and Grandpa started they had zero experience in the printing industry, none. Together they built a successful business that provided high quality products and service to its customers at a fair price.
The store provided a steady income for their family. At its peak, it also provided an income for a press operator and his family. Through the store Grandma and Grandpa regularly supported the community, whether it be through sponsoring a youth sports league or perhaps donating their labor to lower the cost of an organization's printing needs.
Their success epitomizes the word entrepreneurship. They took a huge financial risk and built their business from nothing into something that the community relied on. They taught themselves every aspect of the business from how to balance the books to how to run an offset press. They did it rain, sleet, or shine. In good health and in times when there were some challenges the "Open" sign stayed up.
It was sad day when they decided it was time to leave. Make no mistake, we are all very proud of Grandma and Grandpa and what they accomplished.
