Bye-bye Sparkles

Hi there everybody! I have lots and lots to share with you. I had three appointments at Riley Children's Hospital and I passed with flying colors!

I went lots of places since my last blog. I went to Ohio and visited my cousin Megan.

We went to the zoo ! Here is Megan, Uncle Ned, Mom and me at the zoo!

We had lots of fun. We saw manatees, those are Liam's favorites by the way, and penguins, and birds!

Here are some pictures of my trip to the zoo!

Mom also took me to the fair. It was lots of fun. Mom and Grandpa are showing me the backend of some animal or another. I am not really sure which one it is.

I had lots of fun playing in the water for the plastic duck game.

In fact, I liked splashing around better than the prize I won. I think they should change the rules.

Everybody knows water is more fun than plastic ducks. The tractor I was on was an International "H" just like my Great Grandpa Morman's! It also reminds Dad of when his brother Mike rode the tractor at Uncle Bud and Aunt Rita's farm.

Speaking of water, it was soooo hot this weekend that I decided to put on my swimsuit and catch some rays. I play at my water table for hours or until I splash all of the water out.

This was the first time Mom was able to get my new swimsuit on me. The previous attempts ended in red-faced, tear streaked, screaming contests that I won.

What no prize for wearing my swimsuit? Maybe that plastic duck game wasn't so bad.

Mom dressed me in red, white and blue for the 4th of July. Mom and Dad stood in the driveway with me to watch the fireworks. I was a little scared by the BOOM, BOOM, BOOM. But when it was time to go in I said "Bye-bye sparkles. Bye-bye sparkles."

My speech is really taking off. When I see a picture of the girls from 7th Heaven, I say "Mommy's friends". When Mom went in to the grocery and Dad said, "Mommy loves Macy" I said "How much?"

Now that it is summer, I am really on the go. I love playing with my soccer ball and net. I can score a goal kicking the ball with my left foot or my right foot. Although sometimes, I just pick up the ball and throw it in the net.

I also made up a new game that combines two of my favorite activities - soccer and sliding. I call it soccer slide. As you can see it is a two player game.

I really like to run around my backyard. As you know I share the yard with Daisy. I use it to play in and Daisy uses it for other reasons. Here is an action photo of Dad.

It was taken right before he grabbed me preventing me from running through a huge present from Daisy. Way to go Dad!

Every month my tube feeding formula is delivered. And every month, I take the stage for another performance. For some reason, I really like climbing on top of the boxes and dancing.

Here I go!

What that's it for this week? Wait, I'm not done yet.

I've got lots more pictures and things to share. Well, I guess I'll have to wait until next week. See you then.

Next time you do the Columbus Zoo let me know, I am a member and will command my slacker father to drive me there to meet you.

All is well, my new word is Water and Baby.

Hi Jill,

Your blog of Macy Rose is adorable.

Crazy to think we've been high school graduates for 15 years.

Would love to catch up sometime. I can always drive out to Chicago (not so far from Cincinnati), or perhaps I can meet you in Circleville if you and Ryan are coming back there anytime soon. If you are interested in either, just let me know when might be a good time for you and we can work it from there.
